ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY OF UAB KONCERNAS ACHEMOS GRUPĖ

1. Purpose and scope of application

1.1. The purpose of the Environmental Policy of UAB Koncernas ACHEMOS GRUPĖ (hereinafter

– the Environmental Policy) is to define the key environmental principles that UAB Koncernas

ACHEMOS GRUPĖ (hereinafter – Koncernas) and the subsidiaries it owns (hereinafter – the

Companies) are committed to follow in the performance and development of their activities, with

the aim of minimising the impact on the environment and introducing a culture based on the

sustainability principles.

1.2. This Environmental Policy applies to Koncernas and all the Companies it owns.

1.3. All employees of the Koncernas and the Companies, as well as contractors, suppliers, clients

and other business partners, as appropriate, shall be made aware of this policy and shall be obliged

to comply with it.

2. General provisions

2.1. Koncernas and its Companies undertake to minimise potential environmental impacts:

2.1.1. To comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards, and to monitor

and update our business practices in the light of any changes in environmental legislation.

2.1.2. If necessary, a full environmental impact assessment should be carried out before any new

development project is launched. This assessment should cover the potential environmental

risks of the activity, including impacts on habitats, noise, pollution, air and water quality,

visual impacts and wildlife conservation. This is to ensure that all new development projects

are designed, operated and maintained in a way that minimises negative environmental

impacts.

2.1.3. To perform monitoring of the environmental impact of the activities, including greenhouse

gas emissions, air and soil pollution, natural and energy resources and waste generated by

activities of Koncernas and the Companies.

2.1.4. To expand the use of clean vehicles wherever possible and where technology is available,

and to steadily reduce the use of polluting fuels.

2.1.5. To evaluate and, where possible, prioritise more sustainable, environmentally safer and less

polluting solutions when sourcing goods or services from third countries.2.1.6. To adopt responsible waste management practices in their operations. This includes waste

prevention, sorting, promoting recycling and reuse, and disposing of waste in accordance

with applicable laws.

2.1.7. To implement environmental management systems (ISO 14001, etc.) in line with the

specificities of its activities, to ensure that these systems meet the requirements and to

continuously improve them, with a view to increasing the effectiveness of environmental

management systems.

2.1.8. If necessary and feasible, to carry out life cycle assessments of manufactured products for

their certification according to international standards for product environmental impact

statements.

2.1.9. To ensure that legal limits for water, air quality, soil and environmental pollution and noise

are not exceeded and to minimise them at operational sites. To this end, to implement all

necessary preventive measures and to introduce and use advanced technologies.

2.1.10. In recognition of the challenge of climate change, promote the introduction of renewable

energy solutions and the use of green energy in all activities. Priority shall be given to

energy efficiency and other measures to promote resource efficiency.

2.1.11. To work actively with government environmental authorities, NGOs and local communities

to identify and properly implement the necessary environmental measures.

2.1.12. To develop staff competences and a sustainable and responsible approach to environmental

protection. Identifying new risks, assessing the feasibility of technical innovations and

analysing environmental incidents are the basis for learning and initiating positive change.

2.1.13. To ensure that employees are aware of this policy and to encourage responsible behaviour

and involvement in environmental activities through various means.

3. Implementation, oversight and control

3.1.1. The implementation of this policy is the responsibility of the management of Koncernas and

the Companies, as well as the environmental managers or other staff delegated in this field.

3.1.2. Any potential or actual violation of the provisions of this Environmental Policy can be

reported via the Trust Line of Koncernas: https://www.achemosgrupe.lt/pasitikejimo-linija/.

Anonymous and non-anonymous reports can be made through this channel by employees,

business partners, clients, suppliers, their employees, community representatives and other

interested parties.

3.1.3. Koncernas periodically reviews its environmental policy, follows its provisions and sets

specific environmental objectives and targets for the Companies.
