OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY OF UAB KONCERNAS ACHEMOS GRUPĖ

1. Purpose and scope of application

1.1. The purpose of the Occupational Safety and Health Policy of UAB Koncernas ACHEMOS

GRUPĖ (hereinafter – Koncernas) and in the subsidiaries managed by it (hereinafter – the

Companies) is to define the general principles of occupational safety and health of the employees,

as well as the guidelines for their implementation, with the aim of ensuring the occupational safety

and health of the employees at workplaces, and to create a healthy, safe, and productive working

environment.

1.2. This Occupational Health and Safety Policy applies to Koncernas and all the Companies it

owns

1.3. All employees of the Koncernas and the Companies, as well as contractors, suppliers, clients

and other business partners, as appropriate, shall be made aware of this policy and shall be obliged

to comply with it.

2. General provisions

2.1. In accordance with the principle of zero tolerance for health and safety violations, Koncernas

and its Companies undertake:

2.1.1. To comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, laws and standards relating to

the direct activities of Koncernas and its Companies. To monitor and update operational

practices in the light of any changes in health and safety legislation.

2.1.2. To conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential health and safety risks

associated with the direct activities of Koncernas and the Companies. For this purpose,

Koncernas and the Company management or designated safety officers shall apply control

measures to eliminate or reduce health and safety risks to an acceptable level.

2.1.3. Given the nature of the activities of the Company, to ensure that all employees, contractors

and subcontractors comply with the established control measures and make appropriate use

of the personal protective equipment provided.

2.1.4. To properly train all employees, contractors and subcontractors in safe working practices

relevant to their immediate tasks. Depending on the nature of the activity, to provide health

and safety training programmes for all employees, contractors and subcontractors, covering

general safety awareness, workplace-specific hazards, emergency procedures and the proper

use of safety equipment.

2.1.5. Prior to the start of any activity posing a significant risk to safety and health, to ensure that

all necessary permits and authorisations are obtained, to ensure proper planning and control,

to establish clear task-specific procedures and guidelines, and to ensure that workers comply

with these procedures in order to minimise the risks to safety and health that arise.2.1.6. To establish clear procedures for the immediate reporting of any safety and health incidents,

accidents, potential incidents and hazards to designated safety officers or to the management

of Koncernas or the Companies. In the event of an incident or accident, to conduct

investigations to determine the root causes of any incidents and to implement corrective

actions to prevent recurrence.

2.1.7. To ensure that all reports of safety and health violations received are investigated, analysed

and the necessary preventive measures are taken to avoid violations.

2.1.8. To ensure that emergency response plans are in place and maintained, including procedures

for evacuation, medical emergencies, severe weather and fire incidents. Appropriate

emergency response equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, etc., should be

readily available and regularly maintained at all operational sites, according to their specific

nature.

2.1.9. To implement safety and health management systems (ISO 45001, etc.) in accordance with

the specificities of its activities, to ensure that these systems comply with the requirements,

and to continuously improve them, with a view to increasing the effectiveness of these

management systems.

2.1.10. To conduct regular audits and inspections of Koncernas and the Companies to assess

compliance with occupational health and safety policies, rules and procedures.

2.1.11. To encourage workers, contractors and subcontractors to make suggestions for improving

health and safety practices. Identification of new risks and opportunities, application of best

practices and technical innovations from other countries and organisations, findings and

analyses of investigations of incidents and accidents at work are the basis for learning and

initiating change.

2.1.12. To cooperate on health and safety issues with operational partners, public authorities and

bodies, and other interested parties.

2.1.13. To ensure that employees are aware of this policy and to promote responsible behaviour and

involvement in safety and health activities both inside and outside the workplace through

various means.

3. Implementation, oversight and control

3.1. The implementation of this policy is the responsibility of the management of Koncernas and

the Companies, as well as employees working in the field of occupational health and safety, or other

staff delegated in this field.

3.2. Any potential or actual violation of this Occupational Health and Safety Policy can be reported

via the Trust Line of Koncernas: https://www.achemosgrupe.lt/pasitikejimo-linija/. Anonymous and

non-anonymous reports can be made through this channel by employees, business partners, clients,

suppliers, their employees, community representatives and other interested parties.

3.3. Koncernas periodically reviews its Occupational Health and Safety Policy, follows its

provisions and sets specific goals and targets for the protection of human rights and equal

opportunities for the Companies.
